An evidence-based policy platform and a catalyst for building a brighter future for Thailand

Thailand Future is a think tank dedicated to shaping the country's future trajectory. Founded in 2012 under the Thailand Future Foundation, it has since expanded into a platform for research, policy innovation, and cross-sector collaboration.

From its inception, Thailand Future has worked to analyze emerging trends, conduct policy-relevant research, and provide strategic advice on issues critical to Thailand’s future. It brings together policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders across sectors to foster more connected, inclusive, and effective policymaking.

At a time of rapid change and increasing complexity, Thailand Future aims to advance a new generation of public policy—one that is forward-looking, grounded in evidence, and driven by collaboration. Its work emphasizes practical impact, helping translate ideas into actionable solutions that address both immediate challenges and long-term national priorities.

Our Three Strategic Pillars

Human Capital Development

We advance new approaches to human capital development grounded in data and evidence. Our work focuses on improving the effectiveness of policy interventions and ensuring efficient public spending, while preparing Thailand’s workforce and institutions for future challenges.

Building an Equitable Society

We promote a more equitable Thai society by expanding fair access to opportunities and resources. Our work addresses structural disparities and supports inclusive growth, enabling all citizens to participate fully in economic and social life.

Public Sector Reform

We support reforms that enhance the agility, responsiveness, and effectiveness of the public sector. This includes strengthening institutions to better serve citizens, improve service delivery, and adapt to a rapidly changing policy environment.

Data-Driven Policy Analysis

We leverage data and analytics to support evidence-based policymaking. Our work focuses on strengthening the design and implementation of policy measures, ensuring they are grounded in evidence and practical in application. We also develop Future Policy Playbooks—clear, accessible policy options that acknowledge real-world constraints and can be readily implemented.

Strategic Advisory for Development

We provide strategic advisory services to government and public sector organizations, supporting the design, implementation, and evaluation of development policies. Our approach emphasizes responsiveness and adaptability, enabling institutions to keep pace with rapid change.

Future Policy Labs

We co-design policy prototypes and implementation mechanisms in partnership with public sector organizations. Through these policy labs, we test innovative approaches, develop evaluation frameworks, and integrate feedback loops to continuously refine and scale effective solutions.
